Audiovisual and technical showcasing for the SAS Forum in Madrid

The biggest event on analytics held in Spain this year has brought together more than 1,300 people. Once again the event agency SIC3 Producciones, has entrusted Sono to be provider of audiovisual services. This event serves as a platform for SAS, as a business intelligence and analytics solutions developer, to present and inform its employees about the news and advances in the business lines of the company.

In the main hall there was a 60 square metre screen with blended images from two, 20,000 lumen BARCO HDX.There was a dynamic flow of presentations and video using a Barco E2 presentations system, which involved the spectator in the atmosphere and context of the event. In order to make this spectacular show possible more than 40 presets were programmed.

For the sound engineering, two Line Array L’Acoustic Kara were used, made up of six acoustic areas per line, four L’Acoustic SB28 subwoofers and six L’Acoustics 108p as front fill. All this was managed by a Digico SD8 mixer.

Sono took care of all supply of material and the configuration of the audiovisual equupment, as well as carrying out the productin with three event cameras. Four workshops were set up to give courses on specific products, and an area was created for demonstrations with various stands equipped with Wi-Fi networks for professional displays.

Advances in the area of Big Data or in artificial intelligence were also key themes in the event.
