Gaudí Barcelona Projects counts on Samsung as technological partner and entrusts Sono the AV system integration for the new museographic installation “Walking with Gaudí”.

The Diocesan Museum of Barcelona reopens the doors of Pia Almoina after 6 months of remodelling and presents a showing about Antonio Gaudí unique in the world. The spectacular exhibition along the 3 floors of the building makes a total of 1.000 m2. The visitor can do research on the secrets and mysteries about the architect, know his influences and find out his original work method through different immersive experiences.

To engage visitors and interpret the expositive itinerary many audio visual, interactive and high-tech technolgies have been employed: multi touch screens, multi projection, many videowall solutions, large format screens (LFD technology, Large Format Display – de Samsung), audio, lighting…

There is also a space to experience augmented reality with the new glasses by Samsung, Gear VR.

Sono has been also in charge of the implementation, design and programming of a system with 250 multimedia guides. The audioguides offer to the visitor assis – tance and information for the whole tour and are perfectly integrated and synchronized with the rest of the installation.

Thanks to an integrated control system, the staff of the museum can every stage and detail of the itinerary.

All these elements make the Gaudí Exhibition Center, a museum characterized by innovation and creativity; inherit values from the genius to whom it pays tribute. The project is fruit of an agreement between Gaudí Barcelona Projects and the Diocesan Museum of Barcelona and its funding is exclusively private.
